the art of living cheerfully with Delilah
This fabulous girl with the sexy legs is Delilah. She is the new face on my ‘soon to be released’ e course ‘the art of living cheerfully’ because, well, she is quite cheer inducing. Delilah made her appearance today in the ‘Roid week’ pool and was welcomed with open arms which tickled her pink and made me happy because I had to get up at 5 in the morning to take her portrait.
Oh today I am in love with words such as…
grandiose
bombastic
quirky (because i can be at times)
smudge and fleck , gleaming and swooping
oh and ‘pulchritudinous‘ too but I don’t know what it means. I shall look it up this morning and let you know.
What words are you in love with?
Happy Tuesday:) and more happy tuesday

One of my favorite words is discombobulated, it’s how I feel a lot of the time. :0)

It’s hard to pick favourite words but I find that sometimes words just jump into my head and stick there. A few of the moment are:
diffuse
crinoline
bombastic

crinoline’s are quite bombastic actually

Love Delilah in the pool of water. I have Delilah’s twin standing in my roses.

Delilah is very lovely and most certainly makes me smile.
Some favorite words right now are:
enigmatic
flutter
slow
I know slow is such a normal word, but my life is moving very fast right now so all I can think of is slow.

Clockwork, quiver (noun), adoration, pumpernickel, and calliope. (These are the most recent additions to a list that I’m making.)

today my word is jaunt, which just sounds so much more fun than trip or journey. a jaunt to dallas, a jaunt to the lake. jaunty. no serious clothes would be worn for a jaunt.
and ps – i have a picture of delilah in her wedding dress. you must ask her about it sometime.
(she looks much happier with you.)

I am smitten with Delilah. Clearly she is a master of the art of living cheerfully.
I like the word rapprochement. I can never recall the meaning (and I am pretty sure it’s not a word that I could easily work into a conversation), but I love the sound of it.
