purple mood day
I bought this fabulous mistint from the paint shop ~ it was intended for my studio, but now it is in the bedroom
the grape sodapop room!
I love purple hues ~ just an hour ago the sky was strewn with cotton candy purpled clouds as a matter of fact and there is a little wooden church nearby converted into a montessori school ~ they hung purple balls all over the tree outside in the yard so i will take a photo tomorrow. Outside my front door is a tree that has just blossomed!!! with small pink buds so I am thinking I ought to hang some purple decorations on the tree to celebrate.
Oh, and I have been taking lots of cloud pictures ~ going to make a ‘cloud’ wall in my kitchen just like this one

Gorgeous grape Maddie! I’m wearing the purple slippers that I thrifted for a halloween costume party at our local wine tasting (went as a bunch of grapes and won!), so I had a giggle at your “purple mood day” posting…
The cloud wall is an awesome idea! I love photographing clouds as well. I need to upload about a bazillion pics that are stowed on the camera.

Oh…what a gorgeous colour Maddie! And I shall echo Jenna…you have trees blooming!? That is so wonderful…I also adore the cloud wall. How dreamy is that?
And I was just made happy by walking my pups through mountains of sparkly white snow in the dark stillness of this night. It was magic!

Climate here has gone topsy turvy, we are still having rains, here in Bangalore, south India, so the trees are green and lush. Right now, it is green which is making me smile. I love purple. It is one of my favourite colours.

HI madelyn… wow. grape soda pop!!!! i looooove it. I love anything purple…. wish you could see my room.(it’s my husband’s too hehehe) cream matte yellow wall, very light herb green and purple… it actually works well. i love your blog and how you set it up. i love the photos especially

I’ve seen a cloud wall before .. didn’t click on the link but I am guessing it’s the same. I wanted to make one myself, but got distracted by the part where I figure out where to put it.
Grape soda pop! I used to love the color of it but never drank it because red soda pop seemed even better.

i have always been a happy purple kinda girl
but find i am drawn to orange quite a bit as well…
burnt orange.
