just feelin’ it on a sunday
Oh Sunday, how I love you. This morning there was a sleepy walk on the beach with a thermos of coffee, returning home to light a fire, listening to Wilson Pickett (just feel it) ~ a little dancing, making me hungry whereupon I pulled out the olives and homemade humus and pita bread from last night’s party which reminded me I am rather tired today. A good day to cover poem boxes, gather the last of the apples scattered to the earth from the blustery storm the other evening, and possibly, quite possibly make a few of these.
What are you up to today? And a sunday tune…

Well, I walked around down town with my son looking for photo opps for a class project, had a delicious lunch at Panara Bread and then did a teeny bit ‘o shopping. I think I would have liked to start my day on the beach with a thermos full of coffee but I would have had to drive 6 hours to get there. Alas.

I’m churching, hiking, folding, apartment-hunting, coffee-drinking, knitting my Sunday away…a lovely day!

sunday is also a good day to turn apples into applesauce. somehow, i like them much better when they are saucy, or made into a crisp or crumble. poor under-appreciated apples ..

Were you able to catch a few sun rays inside those gorgeous jars? To keep you warm on those dark grey Vancouver rainy days?
