teatime musings and happy togetherness
“I really don’t have any wishes. I’m happy. I might had had some, but they’ve all been fulfilled.” ~ Ray Bryant ~
(So uplifting ~ isn’t this exactly the way it should be? )
I just knew when I woke up this morning things were going my way. The sun is SHINING!!! (finally!) ~ I am wearing my favorite thrifted sweater of the week ~ crushing most madly on this man...reading lots of Keat’s poetry and hoping this film will show up at the Fifth Avenue theaters very soon. I have been dancing around the house to desafinado and as Stan Getz said
“I heartily endorse playing in the open air.”
Which I fully intend to do this weekend. Happy thanksgiving and hope your weekend is blessed with happy togetherness:)
oh! and I am having a giveaway over at Mindy’s inspiring wish studio ~ go see!

the sun wasn’t shining when i woke up, but simply the lack of rain and gentleness of the day has had me wearing a perma-grin.
and if you’d ever like company on a fifth avenue matinee adventure, do let me know…its one of my favourite ways to feel sane in vancity winter is to go there and get my movie fill (along with some dark chocolate and mint tea).

I saw Bright Star a few weeks ago and was completely swept away by the beautiful imagery…so many times I wished I was able to freeze the frame, just so I could gaze a little bit longer.
And oh! The butterflies!

That’s a wonderfully cosy sweater, I do love stripey jumpers
and I *adore* your amber ring – such a glorious autumnal colour…
I do hope you get to see Bright Star – its exquisitely beautiful and incredibly moving and the visuals are *stunning*. The cast are all marvellous, specially the leading trio, and Paul Schneider (who plays Charles Brown) is amazing – all blustery and bear-like – and completely steals every scene
And the poetry is breathtaking!
If it doesn’t come out in cinemas near you, keep an eye out for it on dvd – I think its out in America at the end of January, not sure about the rest of the world…

Hello Dear One:)
I hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving! I hadn’t heard of Bright Star — the trailor has me excited! — am now longing to see it! I adore Keats — I visited his home in London once — a magical feeling there.
I can just picture you swaying and dancing to Stan G — me too now! Thank you:)

I wish I could join you and Vivienne at the theatre. Except I would have milk chocolate.
The weather here is perfect for playing outdoors. I love it.
