creative space
This week’s lesson coming up for my e~course is ‘creative space’ so I shot this little film this afternoon ~ I had my dog and two boys and was suddenly infused with the idea of making a gallery down by the sea…the boys held the string (fishing tackle) the dog chased the seagulls..and I believe I shot this video (on my little point and shoot camera) ohhhh…5 times because the boys kept laughing and messing up my natural soundtrack. It was a very misty evening but I quite like the moodiness of this little film. I just love the idea of an outdoors gallery, or an organic clothing shop in the forest (with clothes hanging on branches) ~ I am so completely at home in the wild expanse of nature.
Oh! Oh! Oh! and speaking of creative ~ pop by here and see what these two beautiful women are up to:)

I’m duly inspired for this week’s lesson…creative space…it is everywhere…all you need to do is look. How wonderful that you just went out and did this!! I love the sound of the water…I was writing in my journal this week that this is one place I am at home, myself and inspired…by the water. Pure joy!!!

This is fabulous! I attended a reception for a friend of mine Saturday night – his new show of photographs at our local art museum. A big deal – he’d been chosen by the museum for this year-long project, well-paid, and the museum donors, members, supporters were all there. A dress up occasion – heels, etc. – with a few of us invited to a late supper by the curator, where I sat with friends and we complained to each other how much our feet hurt. I promised them then & there that if I were ever famous enough to have an actual museum show, I would require bare feet – shoes off at the door. I will invite you, of course, should that day ever come, because you so get it!

Hook, line and sinker- I’m in! Simply beautiful!
After our Nor’easters over the weekend, your film showed exactly how our tide was last evening around 6pm.
The water was calm with those gentle rolling waves to the shore. It soothes the soul, that heartbeat of the bay.
I missed the Orionid meteor shower this am, but will be up from 3 til dawn tomorrow, eyes to the southeast sky.
Hope you are able to watch!

I was wondering how the photos got there. It looked like they were hanging in mid-air. You have such magical ideas.

THAT is a FABULOUS idea, Maddie! Your photos, especially that one with you holding the suitcase wth your feet in the water, look beautiful in that setting. And can’t you just see your idea becoming an EVENT?
