snowberries, red shoes and at least one donut
This week has been somewhat of a whirlwind of stress but still…there were snowberries and red shoes, curried tofu and wine….this book …this song.…good coffee (and we all know how important that is) reverse waterfalls, a chance to wear my midnight blue dress…the girl riding the bicycle...and at least one donut that I will own up to.
What beauty pebbled your world this week?

Oh thank you thank you thank you for this all: 1. I’d lost my link to unphotographable and had to quick quick copy it and get it over to my place 2. john lee hooker made me happy 3. I have no idea what snowberries are but in my mind they are quite wonderful and foreign, not Texas at all 4. the thought of red shoes just whooshed away the internet problems I am having with my online defensive driving course, and that’s what I get for speeding, but still . . . anyway . . . I passed & now they won’t send me my certificate and I was all teary eyed & self-pitying until the this thought of red shoes 5. That donut. Oh.
Bless you for this Sunday gift.

Unphotographable, yes there are things that absolutely can never be captured. How cool to have a site that tries with words to capture what film cannot. Thanks!

Your posts are just poetry. Uh huh.
Well, the beauty of your pics is pebbling my evening, my day was pebbled with lemon & mandarin laundry~Wonder of Nepal breezes throughout the livingroom while the curtains blew all tropically in the wind from the open window~and Scottish haddock with crunchy veggies for supper.
I’ll sprinkle some pebbly topping on that dish with my postings to our flickr group, as soon as I have my Earl Grey in hand.
Then-a pebbly nightcap of a movie, BASQUIAT, an artsy film about an artsyfartsy delightful painter who tragically died and David Bowie plays Andy Warhol and is pure magic in the role. The movie is light & dark at the same time and has a soundtrack I adore….all 80′s and the Pogues. xoxo

You know, that’s kind of spooky. Just a few days ago I rediscovered Keith Jarrett’s Koeln Concert when unpacking – it is one of my favorite piano pieces ever – and here you are, linking to a video that uses it as background music! I still get goosebumps listening to it

There is so much beauty to be found when we look for it. Isn’t there? This week:
~ the first really chilly days
~ “You, Momma,” the answer when I asked my daughter what she was thankful for today.
~ a friend who celelbrates your birthday all week long
~ coloring with freshly sharpened colored pencils
~ finally buying Jane Austen Book Club on DVD
~ finding a yummy new lotion that really is unscented and soaks right in
~ the way the sky always seems to grow larger in September
