happy hour(s) in the studio
Happy hour early! I spent such a lovely afternoon in my girlfriend’s studio while she worked on a mural. What is it about being around art in progress…or music….photography…dance…cooking…anything oh anything that is lost in the whirlwind of creation that makes me lose myself completely to the gust of that nativity? And then suddenly…that happy ‘hour’ has been hours and I am so tired but utterly content ~ filled to the brim with the fierce love and passion of conception.
My happy hour today can be viewed here:) and a some music here:)

Dear God. We are relaxing everywhere. When hours go by unnoticed you are in the right place. And that music . . . ! Thank you

“Filled to the brim”…. you expressed the feeling perfectly. I have struggled finding the right words. “With the fierce love and passion of conception”,,. that’s it!! It is how I feel when I exhale, tears in my eyes, an ache in my heart and a smile on my lips – time has flown and so has my energy. Thank you for this.

It’s true that one loses oneself in the moment – and suddenly, it’s hours later! Lovely image. Sounds like such a fun day! xoxox

Ohhh, that sounds absolutely lovely, Maddie. Losing ourselves in a creative act whether it’s art, dance or music is a pure pleasure.

Art is a day-long obsession, joy and peaceful torment.
Lovely photo!
